The Virginia Community Colleges (VCCS) is a website that allows users to navigate through all of the community colleges for the state of Virgina. It contains decriptions of courses and programs specific to a college. Users can also search by zip code and apply to their college of choice.
- The client already had WordPress instance installed. The scope of the project was to re-skin the interface and add new features.
- Preliminary wireframes were generated to show the client the proposed layout and flow. Mockups were done in Adobe XD.

One of the requested features from the client was a college locator. The first iteration of this flow was a modal but ended up being an anchor to a section after a number of user tests.
This search flow was another custom feature that the client requested. It allowed for a more focused search. The conversational voice of the site was also an implementation I recommended.

This megamenu was an added plugin to the template. It allowed for more customization of main menus and submenus along with images to define categories. This involved training the client and creating documentation on the admin side.
